待ちに待ったほうきづくりです。
Every year at the end of October, I make brooms with my neighbors.
- Stick picked up from the mountain behind my house
- Hemp string
- Bond
- Zip tie
- Ribbon
1. Since it's woody, I will cut it into parts.
2. Using the stick as a base, arrange the kochia to hide the stick, forming a flame shape with the center higher.
Trim any uneven branches near the handle.
4. Temporarily secure with twine or use a cable tie. If using thin twine, use two strands and wind it over the adhesive without leaving any gaps.
Cut the ribbon to the length of your outstretched arms. Place the stick in the middle and repeat the criss-cross pattern with the ribbon, finishing with a bow.
6. Drill a hole in the handle or wrap it with string so it can be hung.
Storing indoors slows down fading.
It gets dirty very quickly if you expose it to rain.
If made small, it's useful for under a desk or for long branches to remove spiderwebs.
Mini-mini sizes are also great for Christmas wreaths! 🎄❣️

As mid-October 2019 approaches, the autumn leaves are gradually progressing. The timing and colors of the fall foliage vary from year to year, influenced not only by sunlight but also by factors like ventilation and the cool temperatures in the mornings and evenings.
My child is a sleepyhead and is never ready for witch gatherings! 😆💦

Things needed for making a broom
Branch (I picked it up on the back mountain)
Pruning shears, glue, zip ties, hemp twine, kochia-colored ribbon
It's starting to turn red 😍

2020 11月14日 いよいよ我が家のホウキ作り🧹
日当たりは良いところにあるのに毎年恒例のハロウィン🎃イベントには紅葉が間に合わず参加出来ないコキア2鉢😅
抜いてから枝切りして房に分けます。
作り方のコツ💡
＊乾くとホウキが痩せるのでコキアは多めに使用する。
＊ボンドで固定するとホウキが痩せても抜けない。
＊紐は二本取りにして、紐ではなくホウキ本体を回す方が楽。2人でやると速い。
＊この時に種が沢山こぼれるので、生えて欲しいところに播いて帰る。一部は春蒔き用に保存🧹❤️

夏にはふわふわのみどりの狸さん、秋には紅葉して可愛いなり、冬からは🧹として大活躍❤️
